Boone High Country Rentals (BHCR) provides Property Management for long-term residential rental properties in the High Country. BHCR is one of the largest and most capable long-term rental companies in Boone, NC. BHCR manages properties which appeal to the student housing market for Appalachian State University, as well as local professionals and families. Our team provides a comprehensive knowledge for the local market, resulting with achievement in occupancy for our group of properties. We use a results driven approach to maintain and manage each of our communities. Offering a full-time staff of professionals including internal departments for Leasing, Accounting, Maintenance, Front Office, and a dedicated Owner Liaison, we are ready to assist you.   • JoJo Muldoon, Broker/Property Manager/Owner Liaison, maintains relationships between owners within BRPPS’s portfolio of properties
  • Ashley Daughtry, Business Development Manager, handles new business, inside sales, key accounts, property management agreements, and coordinates social media, advertising, and marketing

  • Thomas Steele, Maintenance Assistant Supervisor, facilitates maintenance needs, 24 hour calls, and all technology related requests (e.g. Wi-Fi, Cable, etc.)

Our Managing Partners, Brokers, and Owners

Todd Rice, CRS, GRI, BIC
Todd Rice is a co-owner and managing partner of Boone High Country Rentals and has been in the real estate business for over 14 years. Prior to real estate, Todd was in sales and executive management for Hyatt and Hilton Hotels in Dallas, Denver, Chicago and New York City. Todd is an active member of the High Country Association of REALTORS, a Broker-In-Charge, a licensed REALTOR in North Carolina and Tennessee, member of the Watauga County Board of Adjustments and previously served on the Board of Directors for the High Country Association of REALTORS. Todd has obtained the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and the Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) designations. With attentive planning, execution, human resources, procedures, and leadership, the property management team and business has developed to now being the most influential property management company in the region. Positive results for property owners and clients are delivered daily with a hospitality mindset among our team.

Bill Aceto, BIC
Bill Aceto is a co-owner and managing partner of Boone High Country Rentals and has been in property management for more than a decade. Bill has held leadership positions for various boards in the area, including membership and Board of Directors to the High Country Association of REALTORS/MLS Committee as Executive Committee Treasurer and President Elect for the local Association. Bill completed the Green REALTOR designation and active with Appalachian State University. Bill is a Broker-In-Charge and a licensed REALTOR in North Carolina. Bill is active in the daily operations of Boone High Country Rentals and a leader with implementing systems, policies, training and technology which supports the fast changing demand as expected from our clients, property owners, and tenants.
